The Chinese Dance & Mime Theatre Company was established in 1989 and administrated by the Chinese Cultural Centre.
The Company aims to present a wide range of Chinese dance, music ad theatre to the wider audience. Much of the company’s work has centred on the innovative fusion or traditional dance with stories and themes from both the East and the West, supported by a wide-ranging education and community programme.
The Company often performs with the London Chinese Orchestra and has experience a healthy growth under the directorship of Madame Dai Ailian, the internationally acclaimed choreographer and dance master in China. The Company’s core members are professionally trained dancers from China, Hong Kong & Taiwan presently based in the UK.
